Mailboxes
As you already know, a letter box, letterbox, letter plate, or mailbox is a receptacle for receiving incoming mail at a private residence or business.
Letterboxes or mailboxes consist of four primary designs :
- a slot in a door or wall through which mail is delivered
- a box attached directly to the house
- a box mounted at or near the street
- a centralised unit consisting of many individual mailboxes for an entire building or neighbourhood
Refered to primary designs of mailboxes, mail boxes are usually in the form of a box equipped with a widening gap that can be entered various size letters. Types and form of mailboxes are variety, depending on the placement and size of the mailbox. The most popular mailboxes are “single unit” mailbox, wall mount mailbox, or mailbox that taped to the fence wall or column.
‘Single unit’ mailbox is a box with stand buffer. This type is usually placed near fence and near the entrance to the house. Wall mount mailbox that affixed to the wall is also a common choice because it easily affixed anywhere we want and do not require special construction. Other types of mail boxes that are attached to the wall. This type is a mailbox that should be designed and tailored to the wall or column where the mailbox will be placed.
